Dear Mr Waters.
The solution is simple. Just install the package spice-vdagent in the guest virtual machine: sudo apt install spice-vdagent The clipboard is automatically shared - we can copy and paste between the host and the guest. To connect to a virtual machine using SPICE, you need a client application. A Windows filter driver developed for Spice USB redirection (windows client.
Since I found no posibility to dowload a windows binary of your GNU Spice GUI, I try to build it by my own.
But I found now detaild build instruction for dooing this.
But I found now detaild build instruction for dooing this.
Thus I don't know:
1. How many binaries should be built and waht sources and include-pathes are used for what binaries?
2. How should the build environment ajusted? I allready figured out that you expect C++11 since you recomend wxWidgets 3.0.2. But with this I have problems to compile ' #define EXP10(X) exp10(X)' and ' #define EXP10F(X) exp10f(X)' since this seems not to be ANCI Cpp.
3. Are there other things I should keep in mind?

Currently I try to do it with the IDE Code::Blocks that is able to import project-files from Microsoft Visual C++ or Dev C++also. If you are able to provide project-files for this IDEs it would be helpfull also.
Thatnks for your patient,
Eckard Klotz.
